Performance test plan can be used for different formats. When the test plan will be executed, for the "Data" format, it will be marking the tableau view status as "Error" if the view has the empty worksheet.
Step1: Create a new Performance test plan
Step2: Add the workbook to the test plan, by using search or by dragging and dropping from right side connection tree. Change the format types of the added views.
Step3: Run the test plan.
If there will be any tableau view having worksheet with empty data, then it will be showing with "Error" status
Optional:
The status of the view can also be shown as "Warning", in case the view has worksheet with empty data , by using the property "EmptyDataAsWarning"
- Go to Admin Options >> Config Settings and change the property "EmptyDataAsWarning" value to true and save settings.
- Go back to the test plan and Run again, it will be showing the status as "Warning" for the views having worksheet with empty data.
